So far this season Hereford United have an excellent discipline record with just two red and twenty one yellow cards in Conference games. Three of the cards went to on-loan goalkeeper Jonathan Gould. These stats come from Confguide.
No player has reached five yellow cards and so there have been only two players suspended so far.
The rules changed on March 1st so there are unlikely to be any players out for suspensions for the rest of the season unless given a red card.
The FA rules state that until the end of February if a player accumulates five yellows he misses one first team match.
But from March 1st the rule is that if a player accumulates five recorded cautions between the opening day of the Playing Season and the last day of the same Season he will be "warned as to his future conduct".
With no Hereford player on more than three cautions it is unlikely that anyone will reach ten cautions before the second Sunday of April when he would be suspended automatically for a period covering two first tem matches.
This means that at least Graham Turner goes into the busiest period of the season with no pending or expected suspensions other than for red cards.
