The prospect of around £200,000 a year awaits whichever Conference team wins the play-offs.
The Football League says that there is no set sum of money that is distributed to
clubs. The figure is dependant upon income through, gates, tv revenue and
sponsorship. Therefore this figure is variable season to season.
However the distribution for a league 2 club will be in the region of £200,000.
Another reason for Hereford United to win the play-off!
Meanwhile the prices for admission to the Play-off final have been announced by the Football Conference:
Tickets for the Nationwide Conference Promotion Final (Saturday 14th May - 7.30pm kick-off) will be distributed to the participating clubs on Saturday 7th May, for them to sell at their discretion.
Tickets will be priced at £20, and £10 for concessions (only sold in family areas).
Finally Confguide have reported that Sky Sports are to show the second leg of the play-off between Hereford United and Stevenage Borough from Edgar Street. At present the game will start at 7.45pm.
