The Conference board of directors have appointed Stevenage chairman, Phil Wallace, as a joint vice-chairman of the Conference.
Interestingly this appointment comes after threats by Wallace to the Non-League Paper, reported yesterday, over the level of wages paid at Stevenage.
Two years ago the Conference stressed that clubs should live within their means and introduced a rule that wages should not exceed around 65% of turnover.
But what turnover included was never made clear.
Also appointed was as a vice-chairman was Southport chairman Charlie Clapham. Bill King remains as chairman.
