It is now confirmed by Hereford United that former Gillingham defender Dean Beckwith has sealed a one-year contract with the Bulls.
21-year-old Beckwith has experience in the Conference having spent a loan period with Dagenham & Redbridge, and featured in the 1-1 draw at Edgar Street in October 2003.
Beckwith was born in Southwark on September 18th 1983 and is said to weigh over 13st.
He was released by Gillingham last month having come through the youth system at Priestfield, and spent a spell on loan at Margate last season.
Wayne Jones, the Hereford United physio, used to be at Gillingham and would know all about 6ft 3in Beckwith.
