Purdie Happy With New Role

Rob Purdie, being interviewed after the game on BBC Hereford and Worcester, was happy with the result against Stevenage and was also enjoying his new wing back role, adding that he got tips from Jon Brady on how winger George Boyd plays. He was happy with three straight clean sheets, noting the previous losses 1-0 against the likes of Leigh and Burton. Up front, Graham Evans came off with a slight knock but Jamie Pitman came in and marshalled the midfield superbly in his first game back. Adam Stansfield strained his groin yesterday and could be out for a couple of weeks but Ipoua is hopeful to be back next Saturday. He was disappointed with the delivery on set pieces today, but he was sure the side is capable of scoring more and the goals will come soon.

The full interview will be on the BBC Website later.
