Agar Denies Scarboro Job Claims

Just nine days after Scarboro chairman Malcolm Reynolds announced former Chief Executive Keith Agar was returning to the Club in the same role, Agar has refuted the claims - and has severed all links to the Club.

Agar's supposed re-appointment was met with a severely mixed reaction from fans, but his blunt statement today denying that he had accepted the position suggests that there may be something wrong in the works at Scarboro.

Agar stated that "I went into the Club for a week to advise specifically on administrative matters. Now that period has ended, I am not connected with the Club."

Chairman Reynolds, whose purchase of the Club ended Agar's second spell at the Club, announced on the official Scarboro website on 1st October that Agar would be able to "make the right decisions in our absence" as the Scarboro Chairman sought to finalise deals over their new ground, but has made no further comment after Agar's departure.
