Coldicott Set For More Tests On Injury

Graham Turner told last night's Liaison Committee meeting that Stacy Coldicott is to undergo more tests on his back injury, with the source of the problem now believed to be a disc problem. The back injury has meant the hard tackling midfielder has played just fourteen minutes of first team football in the last month.

Simon Travis has also suffered a setback in his progress from a groin injury, having damaged a calf in last weeks reserve draw against Cardiff, meaning it will be unlikely that he will make an appearance in the HFA match at Bromyard tonight - a game that was scheduled to help his match fitness. Turner confirmed that the game would be used to give several of the squad players a run out, adding that he had been impressed with Andy Williams' substitute appearance at Accrington.

Turner also confirmed Adam Stansfield's groin operation, and that the striker would be sidelined for at least three more weeks, and added that Danny Carey-Bertram had been substituted at Accrington as a precaution due to a hamstring problem. Guy Ipoua was also likely to be missing from this weekend's action, but could be in contention for the FA Cup match against Alfreton.

In response to several rumours, Turner confirmed that no player had been sacked by the Club.
