Dagenham boss John Still has rejected a return to Bristol Rovers as Manager. Still, 55, spent two years as assistant to former manager Ray Graydon at Rovers prior to joining Dagenham in 2004. Accrington will investigate the possibilty of moving more of their home matches to Friday night after they drew their highest gate of the season against Hereford. The gate of 1,603 was nearly 400 more than the last home match, and 440 more than the average attendance at the Interlink Express Stadium this season. Canvey defender Dave Theobald has joined Kettering for an undisclosed fee after two years at Canvey. Burton signing Saul Deeney will train with Burnley this week with a view to a permanent move. Deeney, 22, left Notts County in the week after rejecting a new contract and signed for Burton non-contract in time to play against Stevenage, but is looking for a swift return to the Football League.
