Morecambe have cancelled Jamie Heard's contract "by mutual consent". Several rumours about the 22 year old defender's personal life have been floating over the last ten days, but Morecambe have refused to comment on the details surrounding the decision. Heard won the Conference with Chester in 2004. Chris Brass, formerly York boss and still a player at the Kit Kat, has rejoined Harrogate on loan for a month after a similar spell earlier in the season. Altrincham have released defender George Melling, who has joined Clitheroe, and have allowed striker Keiran Lugsden to join Radcliffe Boro on loan.
