Pressure is on Hereford says Gee

Darron Gee, the Alfreton Town assistant manager, has told the Derbyshire Telegraph That he believes the pressure will be on Hereford United when his side travels to Edgar Street for an FA Cup game on October 22nd.

"When you look at who is left in the competition, I think we were given one of the more difficult sides," said Gee.

"You would have chosen anyone else but Hereford. However, I believe the pressure will be on them because they are the higher-placed club.

"We'll go there full of confidence and give them a good game. Who knows what might happen?

"A couple of seasons ago, I went to Hereford with Tamworth when we were bottom of the Conference and they were top and we beat them 1-0. Eastwood gave it a good go last season against them in the Trophy so it's a game I'm looking forward to."

Meanwhile Hereford United coach, John Trewick, has commented to the Worcester News about the draw.

"I think any home draw is a good draw. Alfreton have picked up a lot and have a few players who know what they are doing."
