A late Onome Sodje goal denied York (3rd) top spot as they drew 2-2 with Gravesend (10th) after Grays drew 1-1 at Woking (8th) in a lunchtime kick off. Nigel Clough proved that if you want performances then let the players feel your wrath - Aaron Webster and Jon Shaw both scored after being severely criticised after last weeks performances as Burton pulled themselves off the bottom as they beat Stevenage (6th) 3-1. Exeter (4th) beat Halifax (7th) 4-2 after twice going behind, with Denny Ingram being sent off for Halifax. Kidderminster (11th) beat Morecambe (5th) 1-0 thanks to a Gareth Sheldon goal. Canvey drew with Altrincham 1-1, and Crawley won 2-1 at Scarboro to leap over the hosts in the table.
Today's results see the Bulls drop to ninth on goals scored, but only two of the top 10 won. There is one game left to play this weekend with Dagenham taking on Aldershot. A Dagenham win would see the Bulls slip another place.
