Graham Turner has played down fears in some quarters that the season isn't going according to plan. Speaking to BBC Hereford and Worcester he suggested that although there is room for improvements, he felt the squad had a foundation on which to build.
"It would be fair to say there are a lot of supporters disappointed with the start of the season and in some aspects we are as well.
"But we are not far off the leaders and if we can clear one or two things up, keep our concentration at the back and put a few more of our chances away, then we could be right up there.
"I'm not disparing at all. All things considered it's not a disaster."
Turner confirmed that assuming loanee Matt Bailey recovers from his dead leg, the squad will be unchanged.
