Scunthorpe brushed past Halifax 3-1 in the LDV Trophy Round Two match at The Shay tonight.
Halifax scored a late consolation through a Matt Doughty free kick. The Bulls-Scunthorpe game will take place at Edgar Street next Tuesday, 20th December, at 7.45pm.
In the Conference Forest Green recorded their lowest gate of the season, 548, as they beat Burton 1-0 for their first win in eight league games. The result lifts Forest Green off the bottom of the table and out of the relegation places for the first time in a month.
