Cambridge have been bouyed by X-rays revealing two of their players have not suffered broken bones.Stephen Smith has a badly bruised foot, while Dan Gleeson got away with bruising and ligament damage after his shinguard was smashed in half during a challenge that saw Gleeson stretchered off. Gravesend have signed former Crawley midfielder Richard Hodgson after a successful trial but have released ex-Hammers striker Manny Omoyinmi, who has joined Conf South side Lewes. Crawley consultant Alan Mullery has fired back at Jimmy Quinn's accusations of John Hollins' appointment being an "old pals act", saying that he's only met Hollins four times in 25 years. Forest Green have lost the services of loanee Ryan Harley after the Bristol City player declined to extend his loan spell for another month. Stevenage striker Dino Maamria is to seek help to curb his temper after being suspended for 13 games so far this season.
