New Book about Hereford United

A new book on Hereford United is being published on Saturday 10th December entitled 50 greats of Hereford United. The authors are Denise Powell and David Edge and the publishers are Tempus Publishing (the authors of Hereford United Images of Sport).

Included are John Charles, Dixie Mcneil, Stewart Phillips, Mel Pejic, Dudley Tyler, Ronnie Radford, Ricky George and current players Tamika, Tony James and Jamie Pitman. The shop will be open from 11 until 3 o clock when it is hoped various featured players will be in attendance including Peter Timms, Dudley Tyler, Stewart Phillips, Tony Byrne, Colin Tavener and Ricky George and others. The book will be priced £12:99 and all the profit from books sold in the club shop will go to the club.

It brings back great memories of different players and is sure to create discussions between supporters on who are the greatest players to play for the club and players they feel should have been included. It will make a great present for christmas and an interesting read for supporters young and old as there are players included from all generations.
