Conferencefootball.tv To Go Pay Per View

A freelance employee of Conferencefootball.tv has claimed that the service will go pay per view early next year.

Keith Hall aka Skeets, a freelance cameraman and live commentator for the conferencefootball.tv site and also a contributor to BBC Hereford and Worcester's sports coverage, claims in a post on the official Hereford United forum that the current problems were due to "hardware problems in the London studio" but added that the site was likely to go pay per view before the end of the season, with the current providers holding a contract with the Conference until the end of next season.

Hall speculated that the pay per view cost could be in the region of £2.99 per month, or a £14.99 "season ticket", including live games. The previous incarnation of the site suffered badly from security issues that scuppered their pay per view aspirations as even the most inexperienced PC user could gain free access to the content. Whilst security of the clips on the site has improved it remains to be seen whether the security or the quality of the content will be of a sufficient standard to warrant a price tag.

UPDATE: The site has gone pay per view with immediate effect at £4.99 per month or £14.99 per season.
