Terribly slow pace says Turner

In his programme notes on Saturday, Graham Turner spoke about the future of the club.

"It has been a very busy time trying to sort out the future of the Club.

"We have had meetings in order to get an extension to our leases from the Council.

"We have met with Councillors and Officers about the future developement of the ground, and our own architects have been to Hereford on a couple of occasions recently in order to advise us how the ground could be developed to everyone's satisfaction.

"We have also been in constant dialogue with the Developers about their plans for the future.

"Everything at this stage seems to move at a terribly slow pace, with little I can report publicly, although I would say that there will be a bright future for the Club, with our good support base we know how strong a force we can be should we need to flex our muscles.

"Currently, however, everything is very amicable between all parties and I see no reason why that should not continue until everything comes to fruition.

"My old friend Alan Cotterill, now retired but a specialist in stadia Developement, has been invaluable to us with his expertise. He has helped us out absolutely free of charge and has begun roping in some of his contacts from the world of design, project management and business planning.

"I now beleive that we are acquiring the services of an impressive team of experts in their particular field."
