Conference News Round-Up

It's not only Graham Turner that is having problems signing players, Aldershot have been rebuffed by Northampton in a loan offer for ex-Shots defender Brett Johnson. He's joined the ever-expanding Grays squad on loan for the rest of the season as their third defensive signing in a week. Another Johnson is having an extended stay away from the Cobblers, with Bradley extending his loan at Gravesend for another month. The Cobblers' Johnson's (oo-er) are likely to face each other in a league match next week. Kidderminster have signed Jonny Harkness after a weeks trial. The ex-Walsall defender, 20, played in the reserve match at Edgar Street on Monday to clinch a month long deal. Cambridge have allowed ineffective forward Daniel Webb to join dad Dave at Yeovil. It's the third time father has brought son to a club. Webb jnr has averaged one goal every ten games in his career. Serial low flying acrobat Rory Prendegast has rejected Halifax's overtures of a permanent deal to return to Blackpool. Forest Green striker, and ex-Bull, Mark Beesley played and scored twice for the reserves on Monday - his first match since March after cruciate ligament surgery.
