Sky good for Conference says Turner

Despite having to play on Monday evening instead of tomorrow (Saturday), Hereford United's manager Graham Turner is pleased that the game is being televised by Sky.

"It just changes the week for us and we will train over the weekend and get prepared as well as we can for the game against Stevenage," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It's interesting having the Sky cameras down here, the game has been moved because of their presence and I think it's a terrific thing - the exposure and high profile that live coverage gives a Conference club. We're delighted to have them here.

"We've been on several live games this season, quite a number over the last two or three seasons. Compare that to some of the sides in the Second Division, some of them haven't had a live game for years.

"I think Sky get it reasonably cheaply. I don't think we earn a great deal of money from it but when you look at the exposure for our advertisers, our sponsors plus the heightened profile of the football itself, it does the Conference the world of good."
