Bull wants Wolves job

Steve Bull is eager to get into football management and he applied for the vacant managers job at Wolves.

Bull, who was signed by Graham Turner and Ron Jukes for Wolverhampton from West Bromwich Albion, scored over 300 goals and won 13 England caps in 13 years playing at Molineux between 1986 and 1999.

He obtained his coaching badges partly from his time helping at Edgar Street.

"I have emailed Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey saying I would love to be involved," Bull explained to BBC Sport.

"I need to learn. I'd like to be an understudy for two or three years and see how I get on from there."

There are said to be about 20 applicants for the post.
