Barnet captain Ian Hendon has apologised to fans after a string of poor performances have left the Bees without a point so far this season.
Hendon told the official Barnet site: "The team he (Paul Fairlough) put out at Accrington on Saturday had practised together in training and looked very sharp, focused and played some very good football.
"He prepared us all in the right way but we let him, the club and all the supporters down. Me, Paul and the whole team are in this together. Believe me, none of us go onto the pitch to perform badly and I hope every single supporter realises that".
