NEXT AWAY GAME - SUPPORTERS XI ARE PLAYING WORCESTER AT MALVERN ON SUNDAY AUGUST 3rd AT 3.00pm

Caersws Tuesday.

Caersws is a village between Llanidloes and Newtown with a population of around a thousand people. The Football Club was founded 120 years ago and currently competes in the Welsh Premier League. Those who visit may be surprised at how well presented their ground is offering both covered seating and standing accommodation. While Bulls fans will be aware of Graham Evans who had a spell at Edgar Street last season, few will know that Caersws's most famous footballing son was Phil Woosnam who made his name with Leyton Orient, West Ham and Aston Villa while accumulating 17 full Welsh International caps.

Travel :- From Hereford, take the A438 to Kington and continue to Rhayader on the A44. At the clock in Rhayader turn right to Llangurig (A470) and at the roundabout follow signs for Llanidloes/Newtown. About eight miles past Llanidloes turn left at a level crossing into Caersws. The Football Ground is found by turning left just before the bridge.

The Club have their own Social Club in the village about a quarter of a mile from the ground while The Red Lion and The Unicorn offer alternative drinking facilities.

It is expected that Graham Turner will give starts to those so far without a league game whilst the possibility of interesting trialists also exists. Kick off 7.30 pm.
