Agogo could move to Forest

Bristol Rovers striker Junior Agogo may move from Bristol Rovers to Notts Forest according to press reports.

"Forest are interested and next week we'll find out which way that will go," Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol.

"We will do the right thing for the club and if he does go we will try to replace him with quality, and we have already identified some players."

The speculation suggests Rovers could get around £250,000 for Agogo. They turned down a pre-season bid of £190,000 from Southend.

Rovers recently signed ex-Hereford United player Ryan Green and were also reported by the Bristol press to be looking at Stuart Fleetwood before he signed a new contract at Edgar Street.

Director of football at Rovers, Lennie Lawrence, knows of Fleetwood's abilty from their days together at Cardiff City and will have noticed the strikers impressive start to the season.

However Graham Turner has no need to sell players, however high the offer, as the financial situation at Hereford is relatively sound these days.

The transfer deadline is just over two weeks away.

Meanwhile Luke Webb was at Edgar Street yesterday prompting speculation that he is still on trial.

If so, he will probably feature in the friendly at Caersws on Tuesday.
