Bristol Rovers' Director Of Football Lennie Lawrence was in attendance at Edgar Street tonight as Stuart Fleetwood, a rumoured target of his, embarrassed Championship side Coventry in tonights Carling Cup match.
With Rovers dipping out of the competition after penalties, their Director Of Football was to be seen at Edgar Street watching Fleetwood demolish the Sky Blues with a series of neat finishes.
Whatever Lawrence's intentions, he is now sure to be up against some bigger fish to secure the talented striker - if Graham Turner chooses to cash in on the striker that left the ground with the match ball after terrorising a Championship defence.
Several other scouts were in attendance, and the Sky Blues' own fans were singing "sign him on" before his substitution.
