The Bulls take on Coventry in their first ever competitive meeting.
The two sides have taken part in numerous friendlies, and have many links over the years. Former Bulls managers John Sillett and Greg Downs were part of the famous 1987 FA Cup winning club, with the pair featuring later that year in a friendly at Edgar Street where they paraded the Cup.
The Bulls will be looking for a better performance than the one at Underhill at the weekend. Changes are likely as Graham Turner looks to get the squad back on track. The impressive Simon Osborn is likely to get another chance to earn a full contract as the midfield is expected to be reshuffled after a disasterous time at the weekend. Tamika Mkandawire didn't even travel on Saturday and may not be risked in what is a low priority match, while Glyn Thompson is back in training but Tuesday may be too soon for the former Shrewsbury stopper.
Coventry are not quite the top flight mainstays they once were but, after financial problems, Micky Adams has assembled a decent squad but one that has failed so far to ignite the Championship. Bulls fans will recognise several famous names in their squad. Scotland pair Don Hutchinson and Colin Cameron are joined in midfield by Trinidad and Tobago World Cup man Chris Birchill with compatriot Stern John up front alongside Nigerian international Dele Adebola.
So far this season they've managed just four points from their four games, beating Sunderland on the opening day before back to back losses to Cardiff and Southampton. On Saturday they drew 0-0 with Leicester and have failed to score in each of the last three games, residing in 20th place in the table.
