Wycombe have been fined the princely sum of £50 after being forced to wear their opponents away shirts in a match.
Wycombe travelled to Bristol Rovers for the League Two clash last Tuesday night with their usual quartered home strip but the referee deemed it to be too close to the hosts quartered strip and ordered the change. Without their own change strip to use, Wycombe fell foul of League rules and have been fined £50.
In other news, Paul Ince is weighing up an offer to become player-coach at Swindon. Three other un-named clubs are also chasing the ex-England man. Stockport hope to solve their goalscoring woes with the signing of former Wolves and Sheff Weds bad boy Adam Proudlock. Proudlock, 25, was sacked by Sheff Weds after numerous infringements of their code of conduct and ended last season at Ipswich.
Rochdale have lost the services of loan keeper Lewis Edge after he was recalled by Blackpool due to injuries, leaving just one senior keeper on Dale's books. Their move for Chester's Michael Branch has also broken down. A loan deal until the New Year was on the cards until Branch suffered a calf injury in training. Boston have signed Rangers striker Bob Davidson on a six month loan as a replacement for Julian Joachim. Davidson has managed two sub appearances for their first team.
