Captain Tam merits a Nine

Hereford United captain Tamika Mkandawire received a nine in the players ratings this afternoon at Rochdale.

Goalkeeper Scott Tynan was awarded an eight.

For Rochdale the front pair of Seco and Barker were given a nine and eight respectively.

The stats show that Rochdale had eight shots on target against six for Hereford. Four Dale men were booked and they committed eighteen fouls against just eight for the Bulls.

Meanwhile unbeknown to many of the 200 or so travelling Hereford United supporters the game was in doubt for a while because of very heavy rain. The rain did ease somewhat but combined with the gusty wind conditions proved difficult for the players.

The stadium itself was of a good standard and refreshments worthy of note.
