Rochdale manager Steve Parkin has spoken to his Offical Website about the game against Hereford this afternoon.
"It has been a very tough week because the weather has made it difficult with the training facilities and we have brought new faces in. Then on Thursday we lost Rickie Lambert and there is no getting away from the fact it was a blow. So to get a performance like that today you cannot ask for any more.
"I was beginning to wonder when they got the penalty whether there is any justice in the game after all the work you put in and getting them organised if it ever pays off.
"But it was a performance with energy and effort and we created some great opportunities. If we keep playing like that week in week out then our luck has to change.
"Hereford changed their gameplan during the match because we were getting through them far too easily and we were dominating the game. They put three in midfield, sat back and decided to hit us on the break which they almost successfully did.
"The players must take credit for the way they played though and so too must the supporters who got right behind us and enjoyed what they saw.
"I will have to look at the videos with regard to the penalties but Sharp is convinced, despite going to ground, he got the ball. Sako, who is a big presence in the box, causes problems and the referee thought he was shoved or held for the second one and I'm glad he did because we deserved at least one point and I'm disappointed we didn't get all three."
