Stuart Fleetwood, the Hereford United striker, may feature on the Ninian Park pitch tomorrow in the Wales Under 21 game against Turkey.
The Welsh line-up hasn't yet been released but Fleetwood's late call up suggests Wales are short of fire-power.
The squad list only shows two forwards, Lewis Haldane of Bristol Rovers and David Cotterill formerly of Bristol City who joined Wigan yesterday for around £2 million. As Cotterill has been called into the senior squad to replace the injured Paul Parry, Fleetwood may get a chance to impress.
Fleetwood has played four times for the under 21's as well as caps in the younger age squads.
He can play for Wales as his father Keith was born in Cardiff.
Highlights of the game will be on S4C tomorrow evening at 9.30pm.
