Hereford United winger Trent McClenahan should know all about Milton Keynes Dons. He spent last season on-loan at the club.
With the Bulls travelling to Buckinghamshire tomorrow for another League Two fixture, McClenahan will have told his squad mates all about the club and the ground.
On the other hand, Matt Baker, the former Bulls goalkeeper is still registered with MK Dons. Whether he will have been asked anything about Hereford is debatable as Baker has been on the transfer list for several months.
McClenahan made 24 League starts for the Dons last season and seven late the previous season whilst on loan from West Ham.
He has yet to score in any League game, but did give away an own goal whilst playing for Milton Keynes.
The story of McClenhan's own goal is told by Rich Fisher, a Nottingham Forest supporter, who wrote an article about 'Great Own Goals'. It was written last season.
But the overall winner has to be an own goal that happened much more recently - the other Saturday, in fact. I refer of course to the clinical strike by Trent McClenahan at the City Ground in the Reds' game against MK Dons. For anyone yet to see this majestic finish, John Curtis knocked a cross into the box that was heading nowhere near any red shirts - yet McClenahan inexplicably decided to hurl himself at the ball, diving full-length to power it into the net with the sort of header that's not been seen in Nottingham since the days of Tommy 'Granite Head' Lawton.
Quite what was going through McClenahan's mind, who knows? Perhaps he sensed danger lurking at the back stick in the shape of the Reds' surprise new signing, Johnny X the invisible striker from the Billy the Fish cartoon in Viz?
Whatever it was, it was a truly priceless moment. Just a shame it wasn't an own goal by Trent at the Trent End - although that would have been too good to be true.
There will be second half commentary on the match from BBC Hereford and Worcester but only on 94.7FM in Herefordshire.
Keith Hall and Gary Stephens will be the reporters at the game.
