Graham Turner has spoken to the Hereford Times about Darlington who visit Hereford on Saturday and also in his weekly column about the sides improved performances away from home after the 'pathetic' displays at both Barnet and Mansfield.
"Darlington are in a bit of turnmoil at the moment," said the Hereford United manager.
"We just hope they don't appoint a new manager before Saturday, and that is not being disrespectful to the people in charge there at the moment."
Turner talks about recent away displays which 'have produced - in parts - acceptable performances.'
"With a young side, we always expected mistakes to be made and we are being punished for them. It is fair to say that we are conceding some poor goals.
"But the overall impression is of a spirit amomng the players where they are prepared to roll up their sleeves, work hard and get us through this spell that has seen us drop to the bottom half of the table."
