Illness affected Williams

The Hereford United manager has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that supporters don't alway recognise what happens behind the scences. Andy Williams recently had both a knee injury and tonsilitis.

"We had young Andy Williams who actually lost nine pounds when he was ill, and it takes its toll, " said Graham Turner.

"He's just really recovering his full fitness now, so he should be better over the next few weeks."

Meanwhile in the same interview this morning Turner revealed he is still looking for a player or two to come to Edgar Street on loan.

"I'm talking to a player today who has a choice of two clubs as far as I know. His club are allowing us to talk to him.

"He's an experienced mid-field player. He could be with us by Saturday."
