We can beat any of them - Allen

MK Dons manager Martin Allen seems confident that his side can defeat visitors Hereford United on Saturday.

"We had Hereford watched on Tuesday night when they lost 2-1 to Shrewsbury in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy," Allen told the Milton Keynes Citizen.

"It will be a tough game but no disrespect to anyone in this division, if we can play well we can beat any of them.

"I'm expecting a massive improvement from the 2-0 defeat to Peterborough in our last home game."

With his side facing Tottenham Hotspur in the next round of the Carling Cup next week his players will be eager to impress.

Meanwhile Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager, has also commented.

"MK Dons will provide a nice challenge for us," Turner told the Hereford Times.

"But it is a concern that we are not getting anything from games where we should be picking up points."
