Turner hopes Eustace can stay

Graham Turner is said to hope that the loan spell of John Eustace can be extended according to this morning's Hereford Times.

Although not quoted the inference appears to be that Turner seems fairly confident about Eustace staying but uncertain as to whether his other loanee Neil MacKenzie will be able to stay at Edgar Street because of managerial changes at Scunthorpe.

As regards the Shrewsbury Cup game, Turner says that neither Martyn Giles, Trent McClenahan nor Simon Travis will play any part and as both Eustace and MacKenzie are cup-tied, there will be changes in mid-field.

"It gives the opportunity for a couple of our own midfield players to come in and show me that I had no reason to take loan players in the first place," commented Turner.
