Hereford United's on-loan mid-fielder John Eustace has been recalled by Stoke City and will miss Saturday's game at Shrewsbury.
"We are disappointed," John Trewick, the Bulls coach, told the Worcester News. "I think Stoke have got one or two injuries in midfield which have prompted them to take him back.
"We had him for an extra month which took us through to the New Year. We have lost him for that and I don't think we can have him back after that. He felt he was getting some benefit from playing matches and he added a bit of quality to the squad so both parties are disappointed."
With Eustace un-available it is expected that either Luke Webb or Andy Ferrell will partner Neil MacKenzie in midfield on Saturday.
The paper has also reported that both Wayne Brown and Alex Jeannin have missed some training.
Brown missed training today through illness and Alex Jeannin is struggling with a hamstring problem.
As reported earlier Andy Williams is a doubt with a tonsil infection.
