It's Rovers in the Cup

Hereford United will travel to Bristol Rovers, probably on Friday Jan 5th, in the Third Round of the FA Cup.

Bristol Rovers defeated Bournemouth 1-0 in tonight's replay. Richard Walker scored for the Gasheads in the 62nd minute.

Although Bournemouth had the goal in the net during stoppage time it was dis-allowed for offside.

Rovers were said to deserve their victory.

Former Hereford United player Ryan Green was an unused substitute.

Eleven days before the Cup game Hereford United will play Bristol Rovers on Boxing Day in a League Two fixture at Edgar Street.
