Coldicott finds his level

Former Hereford United player Stacy Coldicott has joined Feckenham. However in his first game for his new club he was on the losing side.

The former West Brom, Grimsby Town and Hereford United player could not help net a
vital win as Feckenham went down 3-0 at fellow strugglers Brockton.

It must have been a strange feeling for Coldicott according to the Redditch Adviser.

Some years ago he helped the Baggies to a memorable 3-2 win over Birmingham City at St Andrews - a game watched by nearly 21,000 fans. Saturday's clash at the Coppice Colliery Ground was witnessed by just 35 hardy souls.

Coldicott played nearly 350 league games since joining the Baggies. He is a fireman in Grimsby and Mark Davis, the Millers manager, knows he cannot call on the 32 year-old regularly.

"Stacy was excellent but he only comes back every now and again", said Davis.
