Guinan will stay if asked

Steve Guinan is happy to stay at Edgar Street if asked to by Hereford United manager Graham Turner.

Guinan told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he hadn't heard anything about whether his loan from Cheltenham would be extended.

"It's a case of just getting on with it and enjoying my football and hopefully contributing to the team like I did today and we'll see what comes at the end of it.

"At this point in time I would probably say yes. The fans have got a nice rapport with me and I've got a nice rapport with them.

"I'm hopefully doing a decent job for the team and if the players think that and more importantly the manager if he said that then I'd probably stay."

Guinan has two more games, against Lincoln on Tuesday and Rochdale next Saturday, until the month long loan ends.

He spoke about the two goals.

"I've had a hand in the first goal and I set Danny Williams (Thomas - ed) up for the second goal.

"The first goal arrived at a great time for us really."
