League Two Results Round-Up

Torquay remain six points adrift after a 1-0 home loss to Hartlepool, who go second. With Wrexham playing tomorrow, Macclesfield took the opportunity to move clear of them with a 2-1 win over Peterboro. Boston lost again, 3-0 at home to Shrewsbury, in front of less than 1500 of their own supporters.

Accrington lost 1-0 to Stockport, with Stuart Fleetwood subbed at half time after another ineffective display in a Stanley shirt. Two late goals gave Rochdale a 2-1 win at Notts County to move to 35 points, five clear of second bottom Wrexham. Bury are on the verge of being sucked into the relegation battle after a 4-0 home loss to Wycombe, while recent revivalists Mansfield and Grimsby saw the Mariners beat the Stags 2-1.

At the top, Walsall lost to Lincoln (3rd) 2-1 last night, leaving their lead down to goal difference from Hartlepool. Swindon drew with Darlington 1-1 to lead the play-off spots, and MK Dons drew 1-1 with Bristol Rovers. The gap between 7th and 8th is now eight points
