Wayne Brown is expected to receive a warm welcome at Chester tomorrow.
The Hereford United goalkeeper played for Chester for ten years and Graham Barrow, the assistant manager, has been telling the Chester Chronicle about him.
"We'll welcome him back - then hopefully put a few goals past him!
"He's been a good servant to the club and is a good lad. I'm glad to see he's doing well."
Barrow said that Chester will hope to put plenty of crosses into Brown's box and hopefully test him.
"Coming for crosses was only a weakness because he used to come for everything. Browny's never short of confidence, which you didn't mind up to a point.
"You've just got to be aware that some things will come off him.
"You've got to try to rattle him a bit, but with Browny the more you talk about it, the more he'll be determined to keep us out."
Chester will miss Ashley Westwood (ham-string) and Laurence Wilson (ankle) and Jamie Hand (suspended). Simon Marples is rated as doubtful afer a knock. Simon Yeo and Alex Meechan are set to make home debuts.
Meanwhile Wayne Brown 'Superman' t-shirts are said to be selling well at the Hereford United club shop in advance of tomorrow's game.
