With the weather forecast suggesting that conditions may be difficult for Saturday's game at Chester, Hereford United manager Graham Turner is concerned.
"Chester is never an easy place to go," Turner told the Hereford Times.
"But our biggest concern is the weather, both for the match itself and for training beforehand with snow forecast for Thursday (today) and Saturday.
"The 12 noon kick-off does not allow for any of the daytime warmth to affect the ground and means that a very early decision has to be made about whether the game will go ahead."
Meanwhile the paper confirms that Peterborough made a bid for Hereford United captain Tamika Mkandawire. It also suggests that three players turned down moves to Conference teams.
