League Two Results Round-Up

Hartlepool's 3-0 win over Chester last night stretched their unbeaten run to 23 games, and puts them five points clear after today's results. Walsall kept pace with a 3-2 win over Accrington. Swindon took advantage of MK Dons' missed points today with a 2-1 win over Shrewsbury to take back the third automatic spot.

Wycombe's 3-3 draw with Peterboro pushed the Shrews back out of the play-off spots and dented the Posh's play-off hopes. Lincoln lost ground on the automatic places after a 2-0 loss to Rochdale, who have slayed two play-off contenders in as many weeks.

Down the bottom, Torquay gave themselves some hope after beating Stockport thanks to a last minute Reuben Reid goal. Former Bulls and Stockport full back Mark Robinson provided the cross to sink his former club. The Gulls remain seven points adrift, and are joined in the bottom two this week by Boston. Their depleted squad lost 1-0 at home to Bury, who eased their own troubles. Wrexham moved out of the drop zone with a 0-0 draw with Mansfield in front of 7,752.

In the other game Barnet beat Darlington, who were reduced to ten men after just two minutes, 2-1.
