Ben Smith, the Hereford United captain, has suggested that an improved pitch at Edgar Street would help the type of game the Bulls like to play.
"I don't know if people realise by watching but when your on (the pitch) it is so bobbly. It's really hard to play the way we want to play," Smith told BBC Herefortd and Worcester.
"Our home pitch should be to our advantage but today I think MK Dons would have probably preferred the pitch more than we did.
"I'm sure that is something the Gaffer and John will have a look at in the summer.
"Hopefully we can improve it because the way we want to play we need a good surface. It makes everything a lot easier."
Smith was pleased that his team had picked up a point after losing the last four games.
"It would have been nice for it to have been a win. We always knew it would be a tough game. They are very direct and physical but I think we more than matched them.
"With a bit more composure in the last third we could have probably won it."
