Stockport have signed Irish u-21 international midfielder Gary Dicker for £40,000 from Dublin side UCD. The 20 year old spent six months of last season at Birmingham on loan. Dagenham are set to sign Stevenage striker Jon Nurse after agreeing terms with the club.

Barnet have signed 19 year old Max Porter from Conf South side Bishops Stortford, their third non-league raid of the summer. The midfielder is Bishop Stortford's current player of the year and joins for an undisclosed fee. Notts County have extended their deal with Nottingham Rugby Club for the oval ball exponents to continue sharing their Meadow Lane base.

Rotherham have lost the services of midfielder Eugen Bopp, who has opted to move to Crewe on a three year deal rather than sign a new deal at Millmoor. Ex-Bull Dean Smith has signed a new two year deal to continue as assistant manager at Leyton Orient.

Accrington have confirmed that ex-Bull David Brown and Leam Richardson have agreed one year extensions to their current deals, but that Andrew Mangan and Danny Ventre have both rejected new terms and have left the club. Tony Grant has agreed to a termination of his final years contract after injury problems.

Boston will have talks with the footballing authorities on Thursday in an attempt to resolve their future. The FA, Football League, and Conference will send representatives to a meeting also featuring the club and representatives of prospective owners Standing Alone in a bid to remove hurdles to the club's future operation.
