Purdie Ponders Longer

Rob Purdie will tell the Bulls of his intentions to sign on Monday, according to the official site.

In part of a new interview with Graham Turner, it is revealed that Purdie spoke to Turner this morning and has indicated that a definite answer will be given on Monday. The jack of all trades is the Bulls longest serving player, making over 200 appearances for the club in his five year spell so far.

Meanwhile, the press speculation about negotiations over a fee for Andy Williams appears wide of the mark with Turner saying: "I've had no contact with Bristol Rovers so we'll have to wait and see."

Meanwhile, it is confirmed that Steve Guinan is on a two year deal with a small coaching element involved "along with one or two other senior players" in a move that suggests towards rebuilding bridges between the coaching staff and playing squad that seemed to collapse towards the end of last season.
