Details On Triallists

Lionel Ainsworth, 19, previously mentioned as the 'lad from Derby', had loan spells at Wycombe, Halifax, and Bournemouth last season. A tricky winger, he made just 20 minutes worth of appearances for the Derby first team but was a regular stand-out performer for their reserves and youth.

Cortez Belle, 23, has bagged plenty of goals for Welsh sides, but his sole stint in the Football League saw just two goals in 25 appearances despite regularly finding the net in the reserves. Scored 44 times in two years for Merthyr prior to his spell at Chester, and eight in 18 for Llanelli during 2005/6 afterwards. Last season, he played mostly as a central defender at Llanelli.

Callum Lloyd is understood to be a current Kettering player. He was formerly at Mansfield, until his release in the summer and signed for Kettering at the start of June, playing against Ipswich on 12th July but notably missing their match with Northampton last night. He played nearly 50 times for the Mansfield first team in three years until his release.
