Notts County have claimed that the way the fixture list has been compiled for them will cost them around £60,000 in lost revenue. Several key local derbies have been scheduled for Tuesday nights rather than Saturdays, with the club fearful that lower Tuesday attendances will harm finances.

Rochdale goalkeeper Matt Gilks has rejected a new deal and signed for Norwich on a two year contract. Chester have added Macclesfield striker John Murphy to their squad on a two year deal. He is the fourth attacking option added to the squad by manager Bobby Williamson.
