Conference outfit Oxford United are the most recent club to be linked with former Bulls favourite Simon Travis. Travis was at one time thought to be in the frame for the right side job at Torquay along with Andy Lindegaard. It was thought that following Lindegaard's signing at Cheltenham that the Travis signing was imminent and the Strawberry Blonde was said to be discussing the move with his wife. However, reports today suggest that he is now attending trials at Oxford and may be linking up again with Alex Jeannin who has, apparently already been offered a deal.
Oxford are due to play a Bristol Rovers XI in a "behind closed doors" friendly on Thursday.
