Campion joins Carlisle after trials at Hereford

Darren Campion has joined Carlisle until the end of the year.

The 19 year old left back, who was recently released by Birmingham, had trials at both Hereford and Shrewsbury but failed to win a contract at either.

"Left-sided players are hard to come by," said manager Gregg Abbott.

"He's got good pace and good aggression. He's obviously got lots to learn, but he wouldn't be with us if he was the finished article"
