An upbeat sounding Graham Turner spoke to the press after the game this afternoon at Wrexham.
"There was nothing in the game. We got the break to get the first goal and had a bit of confidence after that. On the odd occassion we broke, we broke very quickly and at times we defended very well. We had to defend in numbers as Wrexham pressed for an equaliser.
"We've got to be delighted with the start we've had and the three points here. To be with eight points from our opening four games - and not won at home yet - it's a pleasing return.
"We've got one or two players who are very lively, very quick and we can cause a lot of defences problems. We did against Birmingham on Tuesday, a strong Birmingham side, so we've got that ability.
"And for a change I think we've got a fair bit of experience in there with the youngsters and it's just working out quite well for us right at the moment.
"I'd rather have eight points on the board than three. It breeds that little bit of confidence. A result like today, following on a victory at Barnet a couple of weeks ago, you just get that feeling of confidence amongst the players. You need that in the side.
